As a child growing up in Weston, Florida, I always wondered how my toys were made, boats float, and airplanes fly. My strong interest in manufacturing and design has led me to pursue a dual Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering degree at the University of Florida. Through my work with Gatorloop and the Rocket Team, I have gained invaluable manufacturing experience with machines used in industry. These teams have allowed me to help develop new technology and solved challenging problems. One problem that needs to be solved is the creation of a high-quality, affordable prosthetic. The circumstances for those in need of prosthetics are unfortunate, and they should not have to buy an expensive prosthetic.  At Empowered Prosthetics, I hope to solve this issue and give back to the community.
