Nicole Esposito

Nicole Esposito is a Junior Mechanical Engineering student minoring in Biomechanics. Coming from a small town in central Florida named Sebastian, she has wanted to become an engineer since high school and just recently found her niche in bionics and prosthetics. Nicole is currently the Secretary of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers UF Branch. She was on a design team that made an instrument table for a cardiac surgeon at Shands, and she also worked with the Gainesville branch of “Limbitless” (a 3D printed-prosthetics company) for a year before coming to Empowered Prosthetics. Her passion and skill set lies heavily in design, and she uses this to help create new prosthetic models with her team. She hopes to bring about a new era of affordable and reliable prosthetic devices and change people’s lives for the better.
