Sai was born and brought up in India. He pursued Mechanical engineering as his undergraduate major and continue to specialize in Solid Mechanics and Design, manufacturing at the University of Florida.  He worked as a project intern in Flowserve company to obtain the valve characteristics. Sai continues to work in projects involving finite element analysis. He hopes that in Empowered Prosthetics , he would  gain the experience on seeing through the design and manufacturing  of the arm.
