A second year mechanical engineering student from Tampa, Florida. Samantha is currently studying to be a Teacher’s Assistant for EML2322L, Design and Manufacturing lab. Being a shadow she is further developing her skills in the design process to a point where it can be taught to others and has access to a lab with industrial machinery to practice various skills from welding to using and programming a CNC. As well as a proficiency in solidworks shown by grading drawings to industry standards. In high school she was president of the robotics team and won district competitions in FIRST tech challenge robotics, this sparked her interest in Mechanical Engineering.
