Tara Skipton
Tara attended Escambia High School in Pensacola, FL, where she graduated at the top of her class. From there, she went on to pursue her studies in Microbiology at the University of Florida. After discovering Anthropology, she switched majors to focus primarily in archaeology, and is currently interested in Colonialism in Florida and the Caribbean. She is also studying geography to hopefully gain knowledge about geographic information systems and leadership to learn more about how human work groups can function efficiently.
She is currently the social media chair of the Undergraduate Florida Anthropology Student Association (uFASA) and a member of Gator Advance. By using the skills she has learned in anthropology and leadership, she hopes to contribute to Empowered Prosthetics by working on member and leader relations.
